What should a logistics system that supports an attractive city essentially be like? Will not a very drastic change to the way things are currently being done in Tokyo cause a blockage of the “flow of goods” and result in a dysfunctional situation?
In order to turn Tokyo into an even more attractive city, it is necessary to create clearer and more efficient distribution channels while reliably maintaining the current system which ensures the flow of goods around the metropolis. We must also preserve a constantly cooperative relationship between that clear and smooth flow of goods and the surrounding neighborhoods. Clear channels equate to a smooth flow of goods and an idyllic trend for the city.
We hope that this report will create an opportunity for producing “smooth flows” and “idyllic trends” in Tokyo.
